Web hosting gives anyone a good opportunity to establish online presence through the website(s). The content, whether it’s large or small, can be all accommodated in a single web server. A web server is like a big computer that can store huge data, all the contents are stored on these servers and can be retrieved when someone visits your website. These web servers are usually designated within the data centers. Individuals who wish to rent some space on this server can choose the speed, and space availability they want for their sites. Other important factors like future hosting needs and ticket support should be considered when choosing a hosting company. Continue reading Choosing the right web hosting service for your needs
Dedicated web hosting is often considered as the ultimate web hosting used by the websites having massive traffic or managing heavier applications. As the name says, a dedicated hosting is dedicated for someone who buys the server for his website. Although everybody can’t afford most of the best dedicated hosting plans, they are really paying as what they are offering is the best in web hosting.
Dedicated web hosting is for you if you can afford a couple of hundreds on monthly rent and if you are looking for a reliable and secure web hosting, and of course, if your preference is for performance than pay. It won’t be that easy to shift from a shared web hosting to a dedicated account, and then back to the shared one. So, it is always better not to jump before knowing the facts.
Amazon.com Inc’s cloud computing unit may be its next billion-dollar business and analysts will be watching for clues on how fast this secretive unit is growing when the Internet retailer reports results next week. Amazon Web Services started small in 2006 by selling computing power and data storage to emerging technology companies, blogs and websites. Are you planning to put up your own website? Setting up a website offers a lot of advantages to both individual and business entities. Many business owners will certainly benefit from putting up their company’s own website. This will allow them to present to a wider clientele what their businesses have to offer. With the increasing popularity of online shopping it is undeniable that millions of businesses worldwide are taking the opportunity to advertise and sell their products through the internet using exciting website marketing strategies.
GoDaddy, the internet domain web site famous for its provocative Super Bowl commercials, has been sold to KKR & Co. and two other firms for $2.25 billion, people familiar said, according to reports. In a released statement, CEO Bob Parsons said the deal with KKR, Silver Lake and Technology Crossover Ventures was a possibility he had been looking forward to.
“I’ve always said we would make a move like this when the right deal with the right partners could help us do the right thing for our customers and our employees,” he said.
He said he was partnering with the firms because “of their technology expertise, their understanding of Web based businesses and because their values align with ours.
“We believe, together, we will take the company to the next level, especially when it comes to accelerating international growth,” Parsons said.
The heat is still on and people are still outraged by the public display of GoDaddy CEO Bob Parson’s “elephant-killing” skills. Namecheap had even jumped on the bandwagon with some smart marketing by promoting their BYEBYEGD coupon code at $4.99. Originally they have only made their coupon valid for 24 hours, but due to the outpouring of support (I believe outraged animal lovers of the elephant kind are moving their domains away to Namecheap in droves), they extended it to April 4th at 11.59pm EST. There are only a few hours left, so grab it while you still have the time.
